RANGERS captain James Tavernier had a lighter thrown at him during the clash with Motherwell.
The Ibrox player was taking a throw-in against the Steelmen when a lighter was thrown at him from the stands.

It's the second time fans have targeted the player, who became embroiled in a dispute with another supporter who stormed the pitch during a Hibs match last month.
Referee Nick Walsh picked the lighter up and handed it to a police officer but, fans appeared to continue to lob objects at the footballer at the Fir Park pitch.

It's not yet known if an investigation has been launched by police.
