EVENING rush-hour drivers have been urged to avoid the M8 in Glasgow amid an ongoing police incident.
The Kingston Bridge is currently closed from junction 22 to 18 eastbound.

Traffic is queuing from junction 22 M74 to junction 18 A804 St George's Road (Charing Cross).
Congestion is all the way back to junction 25 (Cardonald / Clyde Tunnel).

Traffic Scotland first raised the alarm at 3pm on its Twitter page.
