THE South Side’s annual mac and cheese festival Pastaval is set to hit Glasgow City Centre for the first time next month.
Pie & Brew, AdLib, Mharsanta and Van Winkle are the venues joining in with the cheesy fun on Saturday, May 4.
To take part, fans should pick up their own “mac and cheese appreciation kit” from the Pastaval base, Pie & Brew on Bath Street, at the time allocated on their ticket.
Using a map, mac and cheese fiends will then be expected to make their way around the participating venues, tasting all the mega mac and cheese treats on offer.
Scoring their food as they go, festival-goers should then return their cards to Van Winkle, on Gallowgate, by 6.15 pm so the scores can be counted up to find the Pastaval City Centre with McIntosh Winner for 2019.
The festival will, again, take place in the South Side of the city on Saturday, May 26.
