A WOMAN was taken to hospital after her car crashed and ended up on its roof.
The 64-year-old woman escaped with minor injuries from the overturned car which crashed in Greenock's Auchneagh Road at around 11am yesterday.

Police and an ambulance attended and the lady was taken to Inverclyde Royal for checks, our sister title the Greenock Telegraph reports.
Sergeant Jason Logsdon said: "A female driver collided with a lamp-post, causing the car to overturn.

"The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital as a precaution."
