A MAN was discovered in the street with serious facial injuries.
Officers made the discovery around 5.50pm in Earnside Street near to Old Shettleston Road on Wednesday.
The 40-year-old was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where he was treated for his injuries.

Police believe he was seriously assaulted by two men.
Detective Sergeant Colin Thapar, Shettleston Police Office, said: “It is believed that this man was attacked by two men and officers are currently working to obtain a description of them.
“We know the area was busy at that time of night with people travelling home from work, somebody must have seen something.

“Did you see an injured man? Or any altercation take place in that area? You may not have realised how serious the incident was.”
