Following Lewis’ visit to the bar, Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch recreated the drink for Lewis and other guests, including Love Island’s Dani Dyer and author Ben Elton.

Talking about the drink on the Channel 4 show, Capaldi said: “It puts hairs on your chest…and the rest.”

Louise Rusk, co-owner of So L.A. said: “All of Glasgow loves Lewis Capaldi and we’re proud to support homegrown talent.

"We’ve been inundated with people asking to try the cocktail- I’ve never seen customers going so crazy over a cocktail.

“We’d only planned on having the cocktail on our list for a week as part of the National Cocktail Day and the launch of Glasgow Cocktail Weekend but it’s been so successful – just like Lewis himself.

"We’ve had hundreds of people coming in and trying it – so much so we’ve had to restock on the specialist ingredients that we use. People keep on asking for it and it was great to see the guests on Sunday Brunch sampling and loving it, so we’re making it a permanent feature on our menu.

“We heard last week that Lewis would turn down living in L.A for a place in Glasgow and we hope that if he does feel like tasting a bit of the L.A life that he’ll pop back down. We’ve always got a drink with his name on it, whenever he fancies.”
