Revellers in Glasgow have been out in their droves on Friday enjoying the Easter sunshine.

Thousands of people turned out throughout the day at Kelvingrove Park to soak up the rays.

The Evening Times headed along to the area on Friday to take some snaps of the public, as well as some police officers, enjoying their afternoon.

Police did confirm on Friday afternoon that a 'disturbance' had taken place within the park.

A strong police presence was visible throughout the day around the West End hotspot, with officers confirming that the expected good weather will mean this is likely to continue through the wekeend.

As well as Kelvingrove, large crowds gathered in George Square and at Glasgow Green, as well as across the city to enjoy the unseasonable good weather.
