A MAN has died after his car veered onto the central reservation and struck a tree.
The accident happened on Saturday at around 2.20pm when the 43-year-old was driving his black Honda Jazz along Edinburgh Road, near to Wellhouse Road.
Emergency services raced to the scene and the man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he was pronounced dead.

The road was closed for a short time whilst enquiries were carried out. Police said the man was not being named at the request of his family.
Sergeant Nicola Taylor, Glasgow Road Policing Unit, said:“We are appealing for anyone who was driving on Edinburgh Road yesterday, who may have seen the black Honda Jazz prior to the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage to get in touch with us.”
