A SCOTTISH woman stranded in Thailand with a mystery illness has been given the all clear to fly.
Rebekah Fulton has been trapped in Phuket with what doctors believe is a serious infection.
However, the team abroad do not have the proper equipment to diagnose the 25-year-old, from Barrhead, sparking her dad James desperate bid to have her returned to Glasgow.

Thankfully, 48-year-old James revealed she has now been declared fit to fly after well-wishers raised £25,000 to bring her home.
Speaking on the Gofundme page, he said: "I thought I’d let everyone know that the medical team have taken over Rebekah’s care and her fitness to fly certificate was signed off by the doctor in Phuket yesterday afternoon.

"All being well today, we are looking at a flight later tonight or early tomorrow with Rebekah being transferred by ambulance to hospital on our return.
"Once again I’d like to thank everyone for their support throughout this very difficult time for Rebekah and I will provide further updates when I can."
