A FLORAL tribute has been left at Central Station after a man's body was found.

Police confirmed the grim discovery was made around 10.20am.

It's understood the man was homeless and his death is not suspicious.

Officers taped off the street and its entrance to Central Station as well as the lower platforms.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Around 10.20am this morning, police received a report of a man's body being found in Argyle Street near to Central Station.

"Officers are in attendance and are carrying out enquiries to identify the man.

"A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death.

"The death is currently being treated as unexplained."

Former GLOW star James English took to social media to share his thoughts on the death.

He wrote: "Another homeless man found dead in Glasgow today.

"The number of people going homeless and using food banks are rising each year and no one seems to talk about it but a church goes on fire in France with no fatalities and everyone loses their s***.

"RIP Young man."
