Police in Glasgow's East End arrested and charged five men caught carrying weapons after three separate incidents.
The culprits, aged between 22 and 53, were stopped by Police Scotland, allegedly with weapons including a machete and a baseball bat.
Three males, aged 33, 35 and 53 were arrested and charged in Methven Street, after Police allegedly found them in possesion of a machete, baseball bat and a bottle following a disturbance in the area.
In Abernethy Street, a 22-year-old was allegedly found in possession of an extendable baton and a quantity of controlled drugs.

He has now been arrested and charged by police.

A 47-year-old male was also arrested and charged in the Gallowgate area with alleged offences involving possession of a lockback knife and drugs offences.
All of the incidents will now be reported to the procurator fiscal.
