EAST end residents have been urged to make their opinions heard ahead of this year's TRNSMT festival.

A meeting will take place between concert officials and local on April 30, where those living nearby will be encouraged to express their concerns.

Calton Community Council is urging everyone to head along to the discussion, or contact its members, to ensure their views are heard.

DF Concerts, traffic, security and noise management teams will join Police Scotland and Glasgow City Council representatives to answer burning questions ahead of the three-day event.

In a Facebook post it said: "Encouraging anyone with concerns/comments re TRNSMT to get in touch with us - particularly if you can't get along to this to make your views heard."

Stormzy is set to headline this year's festival, kicking thigs off on July 12, with the likes of Gerry Cinnamon, Years & Years, Cattfish and the Bottlemen, George Ezra, Snow Patrol and Jess Glynne all set to perform.
