Susan Boyle went for a double makeover as she popped out for a pamper in Glasgow while her beloved home also underwent a much needed refurb.

The I Dreamed A Dream star is briefly back in Scotland after appearing on Britain’s Got Talent for an emotional comeback to the ITV show that launched her career ten years ago.

Susan, who wowed audiences with the now legendary song from Les Miserables, appeared on the show after also performing on AGT (America’s Got Talent) Champions earlier this year and finishing off work on her eighth studio album Ten that will come out at the end of May.

It was time for a Spring revamp as the West Lothian star, accompanied by her assistant Geraldine, visited Glasgow beauty salon Clinica Medica for a selection of treatments.

The clinic in Glasgow’s West end run by Dr Awfa Paulina  boasts on their website that they offer an array of treatments from Botox and biohormonal treatments to hypnotherapy, facials, and massage.

The smiling star emerged from the salon looking relaxed and make up free.

An onlooker said: “Susan was looking very chilled out following her Spring visit. She said she’d been for a massage and facial and was feeling relaxed.”

It is thought that Susan was seeking some respite after workmen began a refurbishment project on her three bedroom former council house which she bought for £65,000 in 2009.

Susan opted to live in the house where she grew up rather than a five bedroom £300,000 new build she bought in 2010 at the other end of town.

The singer, who has amassed a fortune said to be worth more than £20 million, confirmed that she was undergoing some renovation work to update her bathroom and kitchen and a white workers van was parked outside her house while tools took over the roadside.
