The duo were travelling from Balloch to Airdrie between 9.40am and 10.10am on April 3 when they reportedly set the seat alight and press the train's emergency button.

They then got off at the train at Dalmuir station in Clydebank and became involved in a confrontation with a person who refused to allow them to re-board the service.
