A CHARITY that provides round-the-clock support for cancer patients and their families has been gifted a new car by a Glasgow firm.
Arnold Clark Automobiles donated a Renault Clio to Marie Curie as well as a cheque for £1,000.
The distinctive yellow car has been wrapped with Marie Curie logos and details of the charity’s Information and Support Services.
Eddie Hawthorne, Chief Executive of Arnold Clark, said: “Marie Curie carry out exceptional work in caring for people and their families as they go through life’s most challenging moments.
“We’re delighted to support them and hope this donation will allow them to continue making such a huge difference in the local community.”
Georgina Bushell, Marie Curie Partnerships Manager said: “We’re incredibly grateful for this generous gift and donation from Arnold Clark.”
