WITH our favourite showman, Hugh Jackman, set to kick off his world tour in Glasgow tonight, here is everything you need to know about the actor turned singer.
Who is Hugh Jackman?
Hugh Jackman is an award-winning Australian actor, singer and producer.
He has played a number of notable roles throughout his time as an actor, such as his long-standing role as Wolverine in the X-Men series, Jean Valjean in the 2012 film Les Misérables and, of course, his most recent one of P.T Barnum in the 2017 film The Greatest Showman for which he received a Grammy for Best Soundtrack Album.
When is Hugh Jackman coming to Glasgow?
Jackman will perform three shows in Glasgow as part of his first world tour entitled ‘The Man. The Music. The Show.’ The shows kick off at the SSE Hydro tonight (Tuesday, May 7), continuing to Wednesday, May 8.

Due to it being so popular and a high demand for tickets, a third date was added with the Glasgow shows concluding on Thursday, May 9.
What is his tour all about?
The Man. The Music. The Show is Jackman's first world tour and will showcase material from The Greatest Showman soundtrack and Les Miserable as well as Broadway and Hollywood musical numbers, all accompanied by a live orchestra.
His shows are expected to attract audiences from all generations, with his career spanning over a range of films suitable for all.
The tour will last a total of five months, comprised of 76 shows, starting off in Glasgow and finishing off in Auckland, New Zealand.

How much are tickets?
Ticket prices range between £39.75 and £79.45 for the Glasgow shows. These are on sale now and can be purchased on Ticketmaster and any other affiliated site.
Where else is he performing?
Jackman's tour spans across a number of countries, with the tour kicking off in Glasgow, then moving onto countries such as Belgium, Germany and France. Jackman will also perform a number of shows in the United States and Canada, concluding the tour in New Zealand.
