A MAN who police have described as "high risk" is reportedly missing from Glasgow's East End. 

Police are appealing for information to trace James Andrew McCann, 43, who has been missing from his home in Broompark Drive, Dennistoun, Glasgow, since Sunday, April 14, 2019.

James' daughter has shared her concern for her father.

Salma McCann posted on Facebook asking anyone who is willing to help her search the local area for her dad. 

Her social media posts have been shared around 1,500 times since Monday. 

She wrote: "I will be doing a search for my dad around Dennistoun on Wednesday at 6pm, anybody willing to help please let me know.

"Can arrange a meeting point and all stick together and help find my dad. 

"I really do hope your (sic) safe dad and I love you! Come home soon."

James is described as white, 5ft 9in to 5ft 10in in height, mousy brown short hair, blue eyes, of medium build and has the tattoo ‘Michelle’ on his left arm.

It is not known what he was wearing at the time he was last seen.

Constable John Bell, Shettleston Police Station, said: “We, and of course James’ family, just want him to either come home or get in touch to let us know he is well, so would ask him to call someone as soon as possible.

"If anyone has seen James in the last few days or has any information about where he is, then please call Shettleston Police Station via 101. Please quote incident number 1365/06 when calling."
