THE Evening Times has been shortlisted for a press award for our backing of a major campaign to ensure all Scottish pupils are taught life-saving CPR.
Senior reporter Caroline Wilson has been named one of three finalists in the British Heart Foundation Heart Hero awards, which will be held in London later this year and champion efforts by individuals to tackle heart disease.
Caroline has been shortlisted in the media champion category.
The Evening Times was successful in persuading Glasgow City Council to roll out CPR training to all pupils in May last year and backed the British Heart Foundation Scotland campaign to get all 31 other Scottish local authorities on board.
