A CANCER sufferer has been warned she faces jail for attacking a woman who was holding a five-year-old boy.

Lynn Middleton, 47, assaulted Jennifer Macphail while she was holding the youngster in Erskine, near Glasgow.

The grandmother admitted striking the 27-year-old on the face and head while she was carrying a child, all to her injury.
