Police are searching woodland in an attempt to find the body of missing care worker Emma Faulds, according to reports.
They are believed to be concentrating on an area near Barrhill in South Ayrshire.
It comes just one day after a man appeared in court charged with her murder; her body has not yet been found.
The 39-year-old was last seen at about 9.10pm on April 28 in Fairfield Park, Monkton, South Ayrshire.
Police have said her family "are in shock" at the fact she "will not be coming home".
