A CHARITY which provides Scotland's only hospice services for stricken children has raised more than £59,000 at an annual Ladies Lunch.

Women throughout Glasgow helped to raise the amazing amount for Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS), at the glamorous event on Friday.

Hosted by comedian Des Clarke at the Glasgow’s prestigious Hilton Hotel, guests enjoyed live entertainment from Movie Mania, a luxury three course meal and plenty of fundraising games.

Ladies competed for exclusive prizes including a three night stay at Robert De Niro’s 5-star hotel in Ibiza, Nobu Bay, two tickets to the Scottish cup final, a Charlotte Tilbury workshop and a two night private Bordeaux wine tour.

CHAS events manager Diane Alton said: “The Glasgow Ladies Lunch has become one of the key occasions in the CHAS calendar and we’re blown away by the ladies support and generosity.

"Without them, we could not raise the vital funds needed to provide the hospice services that children and families across Scotland rely so heavily on.
