GLASGOW’S only five-star hotel has today announced a rebrand.
The Blythswood Square Hotel will now be known as Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel after relaunching under Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants brand.
The City Centre hotel will now offer Kimpton’s signature perks, including a nightly hosted evening social hour, free bikes to explore Glasgow, in-room yoga mats and Kimpton’s ‘Forgot It, We’ve Got It’ service of essential travel items.

Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel also welcomes pets at no extra charge.
The hotel, which has long been a beloved staple in Glasgow, is recognised by its striking Georgian townhouse exterior.
However, inside, guests can expect new modern, playful and edgy Kimpton art pieces that aim to being a “a soulful edge to the grandeur of the hotel,” say bosses.
The Kimpton brand is renowned for its top restaurants and bars, and Bo & Birdy at Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel is the newest restaurant and bar to be added to the portfolio.

Officially open to the public today, the Bo & Birdy restaurant is under the culinary guidance of the first female executive head chef of a luxury hotel in Scotland, Gillian Matthews.
Murray Thomson, general manager at the Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel, said: “Glasgow is one of the UK’s most exciting cities. It’s bursting with culture, music, history and personality, making it a great location for the newest Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant.
“Bo & Birdy will offer a unique new dining experience in the city, bringing to life soulful, hearty dishes using the best of Scottish produce.”
