A 54-year-old male motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash on the A737 outside Glasgow.
The crash happened at the St James Interchange in Paisley on Tuesday afternoon.
Police Scotland officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident around 3.55 pm, where the eastbound off slip of A737 joins the M8, to contact them.
No other vehicle was involved and no-one else was injured.
The injured man was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with head and chest injuries. His condition is described by medical staff as being serious but stable.
Sergeant Craig Beaver said: “I would like to speak to anyone who was driving in the vicinity of the St James Interchange at the time of the collision. I am particularly keen to speak to the driver of an HGV lorry who may be able to assist with enquiries and anyone who captured the incident on a dashcam.”
