LAST NIGHT’S exclusive story on neighbours hitting out at groups of boozy teenagers in Kelvingrove Park sparked many comments. Here’s a selection...

Prosecute booze shops

I WAS in the park on Wednesday lunchtime and watched dozens of kids walking in carrying individual bottles and six packs of beer – no search needed (Teens cause havoc around Kelvingrove Park after drinking in sun, Friday).

Perhaps the police should be prosecuting whoever is selling the alcohol.

Out of control

It’s way out of control these days. Like a music festival or something.

Intimidating groups

I THINK the large groups of rowdy youngsters in Kelvingrove Park really intimidates families and puts them off coming into the park to enjoy the weather.

Drunk teenagers appear to be everywhere in the park as soon as the sun comes out.

I’m all for young people having fun but when they take it too far and spoil it for everyone else, it’s not on.

Let them have fun

IT’s just under-age drinkers, enjoying the late night sunshine, as long as they behave themselves. Who didn’t try a drink at this age?

Bag searches

Bag searches are probably a quicker solution, coupled with stronger security (possibly private security.)

Not a great step forward for a developed country, but when you’ve got too much freedom and no consequences, stuff like this is going to happen. I don’t see our exemplary justice system changing anytime soon to fix this nor do I see Glasgow City Council stepping up to handle it.
