THE POPULAR Glasgow Super Market is to return next month.

The event, which sees the city's best independent businesses come together under one roof, is usually held at The Arches.

However, on Sunday, June 2 fans will be able to browse the stalls of more than 40 retailers while visiting the newly refurbished The Engine Works in Maryhill.

The occasion will mark one of the first opportunities for guests to get inside the building since its overhaul.

Fashion, jewellery and art will be on sale as well as food and drinks stalls.

The event also promises an on site barber, face painter, and a live modern choir.

Entry costs just £1 while kids go free.

Doors open from 11am to 5pm.
