A SEVEN-year-old who made a dying wish to receive a video from her idol Zendaya has died just days after it was made.

Kiara Buonomo passed away "peacefully, with dignity and remained as beautiful as ever" around 3.30am yesterday, her family said.

The Evening Times campaigned to create a video featuring the former Disney star in a bid to fulfil the youngster's final wish, more than a year after she was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Thankfully, her wish came true last week as the actress responded with a personal message for the brave little girl.

Her heartbroken dad Alan, from Springburn, took to the family's fundraising page to share the sad news yesterday.

He wrote: "We are sorry to be the bearers of sad news, but our beautiful princess Kiara Buonomo passed away through the night, around 3:30am.

"She passed peacefully, with dignity and remained as beautiful as ever.

"The family are very saddened and not accepting any sympathy calls and messages at the moment.

"I hope heaven is prepared for the arrival of a warrior princess

"Tough and stubborn as old boots, strong as an ox, and the heart of a lion.

"She was the true definition of a warrior and fought the hardest battle for the longest length of time.

"God's precious gift "She fought for us, now we fight for her."

A page to help the family cover funeral costs has already smashed it's £3,000 target.
