A MAN'S body has been discovered in a retail park.

The grim discoverey was made around 7pm last night in Coatbridge's Faraday Retail Park.

A post mortem examination will be carried out to determine the 36-year-old's cause of death, however, it's not thought to be suspicious.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 7pm on Sunday, May 19, police were called after a 36-year-old man was found with serious injuries in Faraday Retail Park in Coatbridge.

"Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

"A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course to determine the exact cause of death.

"A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."
