A PERVERT tried to hide a phone that stored more than 3,000 indecent images within a set of towels, a court heard.
Darren Hamilton was snared in March last year when police swooped at his home in Knightswood.
The sick photos included children as young as six months old.

The 22-year-old mechanic could now face jail after he pled guilty to possessing indecent images and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard Hamilton had been staying with his gran and aunt at the time.
He initially locked himself in the toilet when police turned up.

Prosecutor Mark Allan said: "He had intended to hide the Samsung mobile phone in a set of towels.
“Hamilton was the sole user of the device.”
A total of 3.209 images and video clips were found on the phone.

Sheriff Paul Crozier deferred sentence until July for reports and remanded Hamilton in custody.
