Police in Glasgow cordoned off a section of a quiet street after reports of a gun being fired.
The incident, which took place on Rannoch Drive, Bearsden, is said to have occurred at around 5.30am on Wednesday.
Officers are now investigating the reports, with the street being closed as a result.

Killermont Primary School, which is around the corner from where the incident happened, reported a police presence on social media, warning parents of restricted access to the area.
School & Nursery Open as normal today. Road access to the school is restricted as the top end of Rannoch Drive is currently closed. Lane open as normal. Please allow extra time if you are driving.

Police say no-one was injured as a result.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "At around 5:30am on Wednesday June 5, police received a report of a firearm being discharged in Rannoch Drive.
"No one was injured as a result of this incident.
