Officers are continuing enquiries to establish the man’s identity and are appealing for anyone who was on Glasgow Bridge or in that area around the time of the incident to contact them as they could provide vital information.

We are still trying to establish the identity man who has gone into the river and anyone who has information which could assist our enquiries should contact Police Scotland.
