Police have confirmed the body of a man was pulled from the River Clyde yesterday.
The tragic discovery was made around 7.10pm on Sunday, near to the Riverboat Casino, on Broomielaw.
It follows initial reports of a man being spotted in the river last Thursday.

Emergency services rushed to the scene last week, but no one was located.
Last night, police rescue boats, ambulances and a police helicopter were at the scene and retrieved the body.
The man has not been formally identified by the police, but his family have been informed.
Police said his death is not being treated as suspicious.

A police spokesperson said: "Around 7.10pm on Sunday, June 9 police attended a report of a body in the River Clyde near to Jamaica Street, Glasgow.
“The body of a man was recovered a short time later and his family have been informed.
“Police are not treating the death as suspicious.”
