SCOTRAIL users are experiencing travel issues this morning on services between Paisley Gilmour Street and Glasgow Central.

A fault with the signalling system between both stations had taken place earlier. Although rectified, services are still being disrupted until around 8am.

The route affected is that between Ayr / Gourock / Wemyss Bay / Largs / Ardrossan Harbour and Glasgow Central.

Ticket acceptance is in place with McGills Buses on routes 38, 38A ,17 Paisley, Hawkhead, Crookston, Mosspark, Corkerhill, Dumbreck and Glasgow in both directions (bus route Paisley - Glasgow via Paisley Road West).
