CELEBRITY favourite The Ivy is set to open in Glasgow City Centre this summer.

Bosses have issued an artwork image of how the luxury restaurant and bar will look inside.

Located at 106 Buchanan Street and set across two floors, the brasserie will offer Glaswegians and visitors to the city striking interiors and mouth-watering menus from sunrise to late evening.

The contemporary brasserie will be open seven days a week and will be able to fit around 222 guests.

As well as the main restaurant, The Ivy Buchanan Street will feature two onyx bars, glamorous private dining space for events, drinks receptions, birthdays and working lunches, striking ladies’ bathrooms, and Parisian-style outdoor seating.

DJs and musicians will provide regular entertainment for those dining upstairs or enjoying cocktails at the opulent first-floor bar.

The eclectic, brasserie-style menu will offer breakfast, elevenses, lunch, light snacks, afternoon tea, cocktails, weekend brunch and dinner.

Dishes will include lobster linguine and chargrilled halloumi with padrón peppers. The kitchen will be overseen by head chef Brian Scanlan.

Sitting alongside the food menus will be a series of locally-inspired cocktails, as well as an extensive champagne and wine list.
