TWO men, part of Scotland's top gangland mob, have been hit with crime orders to monitor them when they are freed from jail.

Daniel Lindsay (49) and Darren Mulheron (36) were in the dock today at the High Court in Glasgow.

They were each jailed for seven years in April after police seized £3.4m of heroin and cocaine as well as five Glock handguns.

The duo, of the city's Castlemilk, was snared as part of the huge Operation Escalade probe.

Ten other men have also been locked up for their roles in the crime gang described as the “most sophisticated” ever seen in this country.

Prosecutors moved for Lindsay and Mulheron to be slapped with Serious Crime Prevention Orders (SCPO) after they were sentenced.
