A THUG on bail for robbery raided two shops just six days later.
Noel Wheatley targeted a grocery store and bookmakers on February 11 this year.
He had been freed by police less than a week earlier amid claims he held up a taxi driver.
But, the 30-year-old was soon held for the latest crimes after being recognised on CCTV.
Wheatley now faces a lengthy jail term after he pleaded guilty to two assault and robbery charges at the High Court in Glasgow.

He first struck at a Scotmid store in Bearsden, East Dunbartonshire while armed with a shotgun.
Wheatley demanded cash before fleeing with £780.
Around two hours later, he then confronted a female worker at a Ladbrokes in Hardgate, West Dunbartonshire, with the gun.
Prosecutor Angela Gray said: “She ran into the back shop and into the staff toilet where she locked the door.
“She kept pressing the panic button and described feeling terrified.”

Wheatley eventually got away with just over £300.
Police soon linked the two raids. Wheatley was later identified from CCTV footage.
The hearing was told Wheatley had been released on bail by police in Berkshire after it was alleged he robbed a cabbie.
Lord Boyd remanded him in custody and deferred sentencing for reports.
