GLASGOW’S newest luxury restaurant is rewarding 2019 graduates with a unique menu - and they pay based on the degree they earned.

Graduates who receive a First Class honours will receive a free three-course meal at Bo & Birdy, in The Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel.

The restaurant, which opened in May under the guidance of Scotland’s first female executive chef, Gillian Matthews, is believed to be the first restaurant in the UK with the offer.

For graduates who receive 2:1, bosses are offering a choice of complimentary starters.

For those who graduate with a 2:2, a choice of a complimentary dessert will be on offer, such as salted caramel pudding with glazed banana and fudge ice-cream.

Head chef Gillian said: “With so many dining options for graduates in the city, we wanted to come up with a unique way for graduates and their families to celebrate.

The graduation menu which is available from June 19 to July 31.
