A man was seriously assaulted after a fight in Pollokshields last night.
Emergency services were called to the Strawberry Garden Cash and Carry on Forth Street at 6.30pm.
The force said that the victim was taken to hospital after the serious assault. His injuries are unknown and the force could not reveal how he was assaulted.
A man was also arrested but later released while officers continue their investigations.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "It was around 6.30pm on Wednesdsay, June 19, police were called to a report of a disturbance in Forth Street, Pollokshields.
"Emergency services attended and one man was taken to hospital after being seriously assaulted.
"A man was also arrested and later released pending further enquiries."
