A 16-year-old boy sustained a head and arm injury after being attacked by a group of teens in Glasgow.

The victim was walking with two other 16-year-olds on Dalmarnock Road in Glasgow at around 10.20pm on Friday.

They then became involved in an argument with a group of three youths. 

The two friends ran off, and the group then assaulted the remaining boy.

Police and ambulance crews raced to the scene, and the injured teenager was then taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

He was treated for a head and arm injury then later released.

Police are now appealing for anyone with dashcam footage or who saw the attack take place to come forward.

Detective constable Stewart Menzies said: “This is a busy area, so I am appealing to any motorists or taxi drivers who were passing and saw this attack take place.

"Also if anyone was in the area and has dash-cam footage, please contact us as it may assist our investigation.
