A SECTARIAN loudmouth who threatened violence while holding a syringe of ammonia could face jail.

Jillian Rigely, 45, and co-accused Brian Dougall, 46, pleaded guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to threatening and abusive behaviour.

Rigley also admitted another similar charge with the added aggravation of religious prejudice.

Police saw the Possilpark pair shouting and swearing outside a house in Glasgow’s Balmore Square last September.

Prosecutor Harry Findlay said: “Rigley was in possession of a syringe and analysis showed that it contained one millilitre of ammonia.”

Police arrested the pair and Rigley called the victims “grassing b******s.”

They were cautioned, charged but made no reply and were taken to the local police station.

Mr Findlay added: “Rigley continued to be abusive towards one of the female officers and called her a f****** bint and a midden.

“She then made reference to the people she was involved with and called them f***** b******s and a fat f***** f***pig.”

Sheriff Alan Mackenzie deferred sentence until next month for reports.

Rigley and Dougall were bailed meantime.
