A THEFT probe has been launched after bagged up items were discovered at a luxury retailer on Buchanan Street. 

Police were called to All Saints yesterday morning after staff found an open door.

The Evening Times now understands that two bags packed with items were discovered at the crime scene. They, however, were left behind by those responsible.

Police scanned CCTV as part of their investigation and also used specialist police dogs to try sniff out those responsible. 

A force spokeswoman said: "We are investigating a theft by housebreaking at a store on Buchanan Street in Glasgow 

"Enquiries are ongoing."
