Drugs with a street value of £1.5m have been seized from a property in Hillington by officers from the Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Unit

Officers searched business premises in an operation at 7.20pm on Saturday 22 June 2019. A number of premises on Carlyle Avenue in the Hillington Industrial Estate were raided with officers recovering a number of drugs, believed to be Cocaine, with an estimated street value of £1.5m.

Four men aged 36, 39, 44 and 55 years have been arrested and charged in connection with this recovery and were due before Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday 24 June 2019.

A full report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Detective Superintendent Stephen Grant from the Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism said: “This very significant seizure reinforces our commitment to disrupting those criminals who are involved in the supply of controlled drugs. 

"It ensures that one and a half million pounds of Cocaine will not be distributed to our local communities and it will have a huge impact on disrupting drug activity and supply.

“We will continue to target criminality, makes seizures and rid communities of illegal drugs.”
