MAJOR disruption is being seen on Glasgow Queen Street and Central trains until the end of the day.

Rail bosses have also warned of more disruption for rush-hour commuters on Friday morning.

It comes amid reports of extensive damage to the overhead electric wires between Partick and Charing Cross.

As a result, services are not running from Partick to Glasgow Queen Street or Glasgow Central Low Level, with trains being cancelled, delayed or revised.
