A MAN has been taken to hospital by cops in Cumbernauld after concerns over his safety were raised.
The force was called to Rowan Road in the Abronhill area of the town at around 4pm on Thursday. Officers said they were called to a report of concern for a man at a property on the road.

The 35-year-old man was taken to Wishaw General Hospital for assessment.
Yesterday, reports on social media said public order officers carrying shields were in attendance at the incident.
