A TEENAGER is to stand trial charged with a racist murder bid on a man.
Matthew Owen today faced the accusation at the High Court in Glasgow.
It is alleged the 18-year-old attacked Ali Karimi in Drumchapel in July last year.
The charge includes claims Mr Karimi was repeatedly struck on the head and neck with a knife or similar item.

Prosecutors allege the incident was “racially aggravated”.
Mark Moir, defending, pleaded not guilty to the charge on his behalf.
Judge Lord Mulholland fixed a trial due to begin in November.
The case could last up to four days.
Bail for Owen, also of Drumchapel, was continued meantime.
