POLICE were called to Glasgow Central Station of reports of a man with a knife.
Dozens of officers swooped in on Gordon Street this afternoon when a member of the public raised the alarm.

A force spokeswoman, however, said when police attended, it turned out to be a false alarm.
Public protection officers wearing protective helmets were also spotted at the scene as hundreds of commuters made their way in and out of the station.
