Police investigate theft of purse in Poundstretcher
A WOMAN was mugged by a fast-moving thief who snatched her purse at a cash desk in a discount retail store in Cardonald.
Cops are investigating the daylight robbery which happened in Poundstretcher on Paisley Road West on Saturday afternoon.
It is understood the woman had her purse snatched at the cash desk by the thief who made off.

A force spokeswoman said: "It was around 12.05pm on Saturday, June 29, we received a report of a woman's purse being stolen from a store on Paisley Road West. Enquiries are going."
