Leicestershire Police have launched a major search for a Glasgow-born woman who vanished from her home several days ago.

Hilary Woolley, 49, was last seen at her home, which is close to Robinson Way, Burbage, at 1pm on June 27.

When her family returned to the address around 4.30pm, she was not at the property and is believed to have left on foot.

When she failed to return home the following evening she was reported missing to police.

The force investigating her disappearance said the woman is originally from Glasgow.

They have also established Hilary went into a store in Wolvey Road in Burbage around 1pm on June 27. CCTV shows her making a transaction before leaving. 

Hilary is described as white, of large build, around 5ft tall, with shoulder-length ginger hair.

She has never been missing before. Officers and her family, and police continue to be concerned for her welfare.

She is also known to have connections in the Northamptonshire area of Daventry, as well as Dunbar, Scotland.

Anyone who has seen Hilary or knows of her whereabouts is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 705 of 27 June 2019.
