A MAN has been arrested after he allegedly attempted to abduct a child in Glasgow.
The 18-year-old is subject to a report to the Procurator Fiscal following the incident which happened on Paisley Road West on Friday afternoon.
The Evening Times understands that the incident happened outside a cash machine close to the JP store in Cessnock. It is also understood that the child was as young as five.
The force confirmed that their officers attended.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "It was about 1.30pm on Friday, police did receive a report of a man who tried to abduct a child on Paisley Road West
"Officers attended. The 18-year-old was arrested and is subject to a report to the Procurator Fiscal."
