POLICE have said they are concerned about a missing 20-year-old who vanished on Friday.

The force received a report yesterday that Ryan Coleman was missing and have now begun an investigation to find him.

He left his home address at around midday on Friday to meet a friend. He did not turn up and has not been in contact with anyone since.

Inspector Mark McLachlan, of East Kilbride police office, said: “Ryan’s current whereabouts are unknown and the fact that he hasn’t been in contact with friends or family for this period of time is out of character and causing concern.

"I would urge Ryan to make contact with us so that we can confirm he is safe and well."
