Emergency services are attending a two-vehicle road crash on one of the South Side's busiest roads.
Police and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to Aikenhead Road in Kings Park at around 9.40am.
It is understood two vehicles have collided.
Traffic, however, is backed up as a result of the crash.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service later confirmed that their assistance was not required when they arrived at the scene.
A spokesman said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 9.45am on Thursday, July 4 to reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Aikenhead Road, Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to the scene, however on arrival our assistance was no longer required.”
